A few words from GL

Every time I try to post a comment it tells me I have to log on again, but when I try it tells me I have entered the wrong credentials. I think the new lay-out sucks. But right now I have bigger fish to fry, I have been diagnosed with optic neuritis. I cannot see out of my right eye and have to see a neurologic specialist this morning. It has gotten better from the weekend but still I am almost 1/2 blind. Apparently the treatment is steroids and the condition is a precursor to MS. With my battle with migraines I anticipated something more serious in the neurologic area in the future, hopefully I can head off the worst effects of it. So kindly spread the word on the board if either of you can get on it. I seem to have lost Greg's email address.

I had tried to log in before the upgrade, but it would not accept my password. Now it worked.

OK it finally accepted my username evidently. Hope all is well for everyone. My vision is about 60% returned in my eye, had to have an MRI yesterday and blood tests last week. I have to see the doctor again this afternoon. I do not think I actually have M/S but I guess the MRI results will tell. I'll try to post results here tomorrow but if I can't I'll email Gae or Reason again. I really detest this new layout on the board.

OK it let me on this time. 1/2 the time I try to post a coment and it won;t let me on.

My MRI indicates I have had 2 strokes recently, I have to see a neurologist on Monday. On the bright side my vision is almost back to normal in my eye having been 100% blind in it last Monday so the doctor said I have very good overall health to heal that quickly as it usally takes 8-10 weeks or more for an optic nerve to heal like that.

In the past couple of weeks I have had some speech issues that I have never had before, like halting and not being able to find the right word. But otherwise no visible signs. Turn 44 and f-ing fall apart......
